Academy Activities

Study related activities for students in the Leaving Cert cycle are naturally a key part of the Academy, along with classes and workshops on study-skills and particular course subjects. Students are introduced to various aspects of college life during 6th year, including the opportunity to study in a university study centre nearby and engage in their various activities and events. There are also outdoor pursuits, trips abroad, cultural get-togethers.

Students in 5th and 6th year of secondary school are considered to be in the "academy years" in Nullamore, years in which students will be focused on habits of serious study as they aim for taking the step to university or career.
