Welcome

The Study Centre is for 3rd and 4th year secondary school students, and focuses on the unique needs and expectations of this age group. A wide variety of cultural and educational activities are organised, with an emphasis on input and initiative from the participants The Study Centre provides opportunities an environment in which participants can create, explore, share and learn. They make new friends, learn new hobbies and discover more about their talents.

Activities

Study related activities for students in the Junior Cert cycle are naturally a key part of the Study Centre, along with classes and workshops on study-skills and particular course subjects. For students in transition year there............ For all participants in this level there are also outdoor pursuits, trips abroad, cultural get-togethers.

Study times...

The study rooms in Nullamore are open each day during the school terms from 2.30pm until 9.30pm, and during school holiday periods from 10.30am until 9.30pm.

 

  • Guidelines will be available for using your time well when studying.
  • Notes on good study techniques will be available.
